Pricing

Three lines of defense.
One fortress.

Every castle had layered defenses for a reason. So does every checkout worth defending. Pay only for what holds the line — per scan, per alert deflected, per recovery, per verification.

Pick your defenses

Stack the walls you need.
Skip the ones you don’t.

Every product earns its place on the wall. Each priced for what it actually does — not what we hope you’ll use. Run one, run all four, or hand us the whole fortress.

Frequently asked

Questions about holding the line.

What counts as a “recovered chargeback”?

A dispute we fight and win on your behalf — the issuer rules in your favor and the disputed funds are returned. The 20% fee applies only to recovered amounts. If we lose, you pay nothing. The scheme dispute fee charged by the card networks is separate from our fee.

Do I have to use all four products?

No. Each product stands on its own. Plenty of merchants start with just Chargeback Management because the ROI is clearest, then add Alerts, Fraud Prevention, or Identity later. That said, they work better together — signals from one wall feed the next.

How is Alerts different from Chargeback Management?

Alerts catches disputes before they become chargebacks. When a cardholder calls their bank to dispute a charge, the card networks (Visa RDR, Ethoca) notify us in real time. You get a window — usually 24–72 hours — to refund, resolve, or act before the formal chargeback is filed. No filing = no chargeback fee, no win-rate hit, no ratio damage.

Chargeback Management takes over once a dispute has already been filed and runs the representment fight. The two work in sequence: Alerts catches what it can; Chargebacks wins back what slips through.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No minimum commitment on any product. Pricing is usage-based and you can scale up or down month to month. For high-volume merchants we offer custom annual agreements with SLAs and dedicated support — just ask on a demo call.

What processors and platforms do you integrate with?

Direct integrations with Visa and Mastercard, plus the major processors (Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Checkout.com, Braintree) and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom). Don’t see yours? We add integrations regularly — ask us on a demo call.

How does Chargetower compare to running this in-house?

Most in-house chargeback teams hit a ceiling around 30–40% win rates because evidence quality plateaus and analyst time gets expensive fast. Our automated representment targets 60%+ win rates by using proven evidence formats and patterns refined across high-volume merchants.

On Fraud Prevention and Identity, the math is even simpler — building either from scratch means hiring a fraud engineer plus paying for the underlying data networks. We bundle both into per-transaction pricing.

Is Chargetower safe and compliant?

GDPR-compliant by design (we’re Cyprus-registered and process under EU law), with AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and role-based access controls throughout. High-volume customers can request EU-only data residency and custom DPAs.
